So I realized almost every nationality/ethnicity/race has its own community. Just made sense for Indians to have one as well. I am not sure how many Indians are here on DevArt but I have met quite a few and I am sure there are many more just hiding around the corner someplace.

If you are of Indian Origin/NRI/have Indian parents/half Indian, half something else, please send me a note and I will add you to the list. I am not exactly sure what else I can do with this community, but if you have any ideas, please feel free to share.

An Even NEWER UPDATE!!!
Ok, ok pppl, time for a new update. The new theme for August is "Increase Your Pageviews!" That's right ladies and gentleman, this is an opportunity to show this community what you are capable of. You can upload THREE of your favourite pieces of Art here on ~ aryaputras. The pieces do not have to be necessarily related to this community. They could be pieces you wish more ppl see and appreciate.

On another note, the "winners" of the " India" theme are ~nefariax and ~ divinities. Their combined effort titled "Colors of India" garnered a total of 11 comments and 1 +Fav. Congratulations!

When uploading new art, please identify yourself. For instance, title your piece as "Megan Bates 3 by bigf" and so on. This will make it easier for others to identify whose work it is.

NEW Update!!!
So I know DA is huge. Most of the times, we are very frustrated by the lack of recognition, comments and pageviews that we deserve. This has led to ppl doing stupid things like Favourting their own work from a different account of theirs.
In lieu of this, I am opening up ~ aryaputras so that everybody can post links to their latest pieces. Limit to MAX. two links per person. This way, kind-hearted souls with enough time/patience/goodwill can comment upon these works.
Some suggestions/ground rules though first:

1. Refrain from making ambiguous OMG!!! That is awesome!!! type of comments. Especially refrain from making "This sucks!!!" comments because they are not helpful. We are trying to give decent comments on these pieces so that the artiste can improve himself/herself.

2. Please be explicit in saying what you like and dislike about the pictures while suggestion changes to be made. Sometimes, this might not be possible, so just point out things that can be changed.

3. LAstly, be nice I guess. I know it is easy to get on a power-trip - I do it very often, so try ot be nice.
